Lemon dessert that makes it own sauce is delicious, warm and cozy. You can use any recipe that makes a lemon cake - with sugar, butter, flour, eggs and lemon flavour. Over the top you pour a sugar and lemon juice solution. Then you pour a cup of very hot water over the top. Mysteriously, the sauce goes to the bottom and the cake sit on top after it has been cooked. This is a great dessert hot or cold.
Chocolate fudge dessert is made in a similar fashion. You just use the reci[pe for a brownie-type dessert that you make from scratch in a quick minute, then pour a cocoa and water and sugar mixture over the top.
Bread pudding is a wonderful, comfortable winter dessert. Use slightly stale white bread and use lots of sugar and nutmeg in the milk sauce. Nothing is better on a wintry evening!
