What are the most useful Kitchenaid Mixer attachments?
To me, the one singlemost important attachment on my Kitcheaid would be the dough hook. I am an avid baker, and use my Kitchenaid at least three times a week, usually more. As someone who has Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, kneading dough was next to impossible. The pain was terrible and my strength is next to nothing. Making any kind of yeast bread would not be possible without the dough hook. There is no way I could knead a batch of elastic dough with my bare hands for 8 - 10 minutes.
The next most important attachment would be the mixer. It is easier to use the attachment than holding a hand mixer. There are no more dishes to wash with the kitchenaid, and you are free to complete other tasks while the mixer runs.
There are so many fun and useful attachments for a Kitchenaid. I use over ten of them regularly. But I have to say the dough hook has most certainly earned the title of "Most Used" in my kitchen.
